Oita Made

Oita’s rich natural environment provides a wealth of produce and resources. Add in the locals’ creative talent and you have Oita Made, which brings the best of Oita’s foods, drinks modern, arts and crafts and their stories under one brand. The Oita Made flagship store is found in Akarenga-kan, an elegant red brick building in central Oita City that once housed the headquarters of Oita Bank. The bank, which wanted to promote its customers businesses and wider Oita, was the inspiration behind the establishment of Oita Made. Another Oita Made outlet is found at Oita Airport.
