Oga Farm

Oga Farm is a bit of a misnomer as it is really a garden and a very pleasant one to boot. Beautifully sited with a southern aspect on a bluff overlooking Beppu Bay, Oga Farm is a calming botanical oasis edged by woodlands. It is centred on an extensive rose garden, which has over 1,000 individual plants composed of 600 varietals, a herb and a kitchen garden. Many other plants are found throughout including sakura cherry blossom, mimosa, perennial and bulb flowers that add extra seasonal colours and interest.

Oga Farm is a delightful place just to gently wander around in tranquility, but also to learn about its plants, their propagation and uses. Many plants are available for sale in its nursery, while a restaurant and cafe serve dishes that include produce grown in the grounds. A shop sells home-made items including a wide variety of herb teas and jams.
