Everything about Mizushi-no-Mori exudes a quiet dignity and subtle elegance, a sense of nature and man in harmony. The realisation of a long-held dream, the proprietors, a husband and wife team, brought together their creative skills honed as fashion designer and artist to create this delightful cafe and gallery.

Their impetus was to provide a relaxing space for people to connect with each other and savour art. The pair spent over ten years looking for the right spot, landscaping the woodland grounds, and designing and constructing the building. The time, effort and finesse they have invested has resulted in a beautifully balanced environment, one without contrivance, to enjoy nature, art, and good company over light meals of pizza, keema curry, desserts and refreshments.

Mizushi-no-Mori shows a variety of artists’ work at any one time including those of the owners, and the fixed menu of carefully prepared and presented dishes mirrors the serene surroundings.
